Spoke too Soon

How much of a coincidence do you think it is that 3 days after the doc got notified there was a complaint against him that he finally sent in the paperwork we had been waiting 8 weeks for? Yeah, I didn't either. The only problem is that this stupid doc left out THE MOST IMPORTANT SENTANCE! He totally agreed with our doc and his findings. Great. Except his whole purpose in this effort is to decide whether this is a workman's comp/industrial claim or not. It took him 8 weeks to dictate a letter that is about 5 sentances long and he left out the one sentance we needed.

Can you say mad and frustrated?

Brenna called his office yesterday after finding this out and they told her the doc is now out of town for the rest of the week. Liberty Mutual told her to plan on another month before they get anything from him. Really? Why is this acceptable to them? They have to keep paying her while this thing gets decided. You would think they would want this decided too.

So, it was back on the phone to various lawyers to see if there is anything we can do. Nope. Back to the medical board to see if there was anything they can do. Nope, just file another complaint. Done. My mom came up with the idea to call the news channels and get their consumer watchdogs to help, so that is todays project. Anybody else have any other ideas?

Needless to say there were a lot of tears yesterday. Will this thing ever get decided?
