The next chapter of the on-going surgery saga . . . .

Where did we leave off? Oh yeah, Dr Douche Bag left out the most important sentance. We tried calling everyone to see if they could help and got nowhere. So, we called the consumer reporter for our local NBC station and got them on the case. They sent a very strongly worded email to the office manager but they got nowhere either. Of course, the guy they assiged to Brenna only works 1 day a week, so not a lot gets done inbetween. The one good thing is that they copied her on the email so she now had the name and email address of the office manager! Let's start bugging her too!

Brenna also filed a complaint with Liberty Mutual on their "Presidential Complaints" whatever that is, but it did get some action. She got a call from her case manager's boss who told her he got chewed out by his bosses boss! Guess they take those complaints seriously. Wish we had known that sooner. Anyway, he questioned Brenna on why she had filed this and she explained her story to him and the time line. It's been since Oct 6th that this all started. Thankfully, he did agree that this is taking too long and promised her some action.

So much has happened I can't remember who told us what, but the bottom line is that Dr Douche Bag is now refusing to do anything further with her file since she has filed these complaints against him. He will not dictate anything else on her file, so we are at a standstill again. Liberty Mutual told him he wouldn't be paid but he didn't seem to care. Douche Bag also sent such a replusive letter to the consumer reporter guy that he wouldn't even share it with Brenna. Said it was awful and was basically just a rant about how everyone was out to get him. I really wish the news guy would look into this further because I think there is a story there.

So, we are back to square one. Liberty Mutual is sending her for a new IME and we start the second opinion process over again. Thankfully, they got her an appointment right away and she goes in April 2nd. Who knows how long it will take with this doctor though.
