We were lucky enough that my brother, Scott, has a car large enough to fit us all, so we drove down together in his SUV. Sure was nice to not have to drive as it's about a little over an hour from our house. We left early enough so we could grab dinner and went to Macaroni Grill. Ymmmmmmm
Mikayla and Brenna sat in the very back and chatted the whole drive, just catching up on "cuz" stuff.

My family. Wish Aaron could have been there but he couldn't get both days off work and we decided the Flagstaff graduation walk made more sense for him to attend.
This is Brenna and her friend, Rikki. They drove back and forth to Tucson together for the last year. Rikki has gotten a job in Payson near her family.
The event was held at Reflections at the Buttes in Oro Valley. I think it's more of a wedding center, but it was a nice place to have it at and set up very pretty.

The Dean of Nursing gave a great speech about all the different hats they will wear in their nursing careers and she had a different hat for each example. It was a great speech.

They did a lamplight/candle ceremony at the end where they recited the nurses oath. It was just so special.
After the ceremony they invited everyone out to the patio for punch and cake. It was such a pretty night and the grounds were beautiful
Again, wish my pictures turned out better, but this is the pin that Brenna ordered. The school gave them a generic one, but this one is really pretty.
So, we will be taking off for Flagstaff in another hour or two. We will meet Ron's mom and Earl for dinner and then the big graduation walk is at 10 am on Friday. Wait until you see what Brenna did to her cap! I'll save that for the next post!
