Had a great time yesterday with a bunch of friends that I've made off the internet. We are all in a chat group that was formed back in September, 2006 on Cruise Critic. We are all people who like to cruise and are from Arizona. It's a pretty large group but only about 20 or so chat on a regular basis and now we have get togethers about 3-4 times a year as a large group. A couple of us get together for lunch more regularly, but we all live closer to each other too.
Yesterday we met for a potluck out in Surprise. Totally the other side of town for me, but not as far as a few people drove. One couple regularly drives up from the Tucson area and we have "honorary members" that even drive over from LA! It was a bunch of fun, the weather was perfect and tons of good food. What's not to like about that? And who knew a group of people that met on line could become such good friends?
