Today is the day! Today is Ron's last day of work until January 7th. He starts his second sabbatical with Intel. It really is a nice perk they offer. Every 7 years you get 8 weeks paid time off on top of your regular vacation. Ron will be off of work for 10 weeks total. I think it will take him about a month to de-stress, which will be just in time for us to leave on our trip!
Ron has big plans to work in his garage on various projects during this time. Weather is FINALLY starting to cool down more, although we are still in the high 80's during the day. He is planning on doing lots of work on his rat rod project, so it might actually start to look like something by the time he returns to work. I guess time will tell.
